Lectures on Yoga and Vedanta given at the Boston Vedanta Society. Vedanta is one of the world's most ancient religious philosophies and one of its broadest. Based on the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of India, Vedanta affirms the oneness of existence, the divinity of the soul, and the harmony of religions. According to Vedanta, God is infinite existence, infinite consciousness, and infinite bliss. The term for this impersonal, transcendent reality is Brahman, the divine ground of being. Yet Vedanta also maintains that God can be personal as well, assuming human form in every age. Vedanta further asserts that the goal of human life is to realize and manifest our divinity. Not only is this possible, it is inevitable. Our real nature is divine; God-realization is our birthright. Finally, Vedanta affirms that all religions teach the same basic truths about God, the world, and our relationship to one another.
Sadhguru, founder of Isha Foundation is a yogi, mystic and spiritual master with a difference. An arresting blend of profundity and pragmatism, his life and work serve as a reminder that inner sciences are not esoteric philosophies from an outdated past, but a contemporary science vitally relevant to our times.

Yo soy cristiano pero racional me permito refleccionar y me surgen muchas dudas.Bueno y de las larvas que viven rodeados de oro y comen de lo mejor y Beben el mejor vino gracias a la jente del mundo que van a las iglesias y cuando pasa el monaguillo con la canastita ponen plata y no saben que las larvas vagos viven como reyes a costa de la limosna de los pobres cristianos que piensan que es para los pobres y chicos que no tienen para comer.yo respeto a las creencias de todos pero lo de las larvas eso no.
Es muy posible que no existiese el personaje, absolutamente mortal y humano, de Jesús. Pero a la Iglesia le ha venido muy bien esa imagen bonachona para lavar su largo historial de crímenes.
Sin ánimo de ofender a nadie, me parecen unos argumentos muy pobres. Lo interesante de la vida de Jesús es lo que ha dejado escrito, la profundidad de su palabra, la bondad y el amor que se transmite y que soluciona tantos problemas en el planeta. Pero en vez de ver eso, tratamos de demostrar lo indemostrable. En fin, cada uno hace con su tiempo lo que quiere. Que Dios los bendiga en este año trágico, 2021 d.C. Un saludo.

Te recomiendo leer o escuchar al catedratico Antonio Piñeiro, también a FLAVIO JOSEFO, COMTEPORANEO, de Jesús, que lo cita en sus escritos. Ningún historiador pone en duda la existencia de Jesus... Escritos en la biblia??? Enserio??? Te recuerdo que es una religión apocalictica, que sentido tiene dejar escritos cuando predijo el fin del mundo?? Te animo encarecidamente un audio del judaísmo, y ese dios colérico que necesita sacrificios o del islam, si tienes narices, y su profeta que subió al cielo a lomos de un caballo blanco!! Por cierto, en el Islam Jesús es uno de sus profetas, reconocido por Mahoma 1000 años después de su muerte en la cruz. Lo que no se puede hacer es omitir cosas o faltar a la verdad porque eso es mentir.
