En esta ocasión Carmen Caesaris nos acerca a Pompeya para conocer uno de los últimos hallazgos arqueológicos en la vieja ciudad romana. Se trata de un termopolio, un establecimiento dedicado a servir comida para llevar.

Carmen nos aporta las novedades en la excavación, los campos de estudio que nos otorga el yacimiento y realiza una reconstrucción de cómo y qué comían los romanos.

Lo cierto es que el termopolio nos facilita mucha información gracias a su estado de conservación. Conservamos alimentos, materiales de soporte y la estructura. Sí, también había vino.

En el segundo tramo del programa, viajamos a la Persia medieval gracias a la "Vitrina Cero" del Museo Arqueológico Nacional. Para conocer más hablamos con Sergio Vidal Álvarez, Conservador Jefe del Departamento de Antigüedades Medievales.

Gracias a las piezas que componen la vitrina conocemos ciertos elementos de la vida cotidiana de la Persia medieval, así como las influencias en su manufactura y el comercio con la conocida Ruta de la Seda.
