Episode 1 - The Roots of Reggae. In episode one, Don looks at the beginnings of Reggae, from the naming of the genre, the tracks that created the foundations, the catalysts behind the genre and even his fathers Sound System parties in South London.Don Letts is one of the central characters in reggae in the UK. Dating back to the seventies where his residency at the infamous Roxy club switched a whole generation of punks onto Reggae and is still at the forefront of new music with his BBC Radio 6 show.The show is kindly supported by Turtle Bay - the UKs finest Caribbean Restaurant chain.
"El hexágono" es un programa de música, de música francesa, o mejor dicho, de música en francés, porque también queremos recoger toda esa música que se hace fuera del "hexágono" francés, en todos esos países que utilizan la misma lengua. Por cierto, el título de nuestro programa hace referencia a esa denominación con que es conocido el país vecino por su forma cuasi hexagonal.
Duendeando es descrito por su creador como "un programa de flamencos y pelícanos", y la expresión hace honor a lo que hace sonar cada fin de semana en las ondas de Radio 3. Conducido por Teo Sánchez, Duendeando repasa todas las corrientes musicales enmarcadas dentro del flamenco.
