A Brief History of Mathematics
Professor of Mathematics Marcus du Sautoy reveals the personalities behind the calculations and argues that mathematics is the driving force behind modern science.
Revisionist History is Malcolm Gladwell's journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every episode re-examines something from the past—an event, a person, an idea, even a song—and asks whether we got it right the first time. From Pushkin Industries. Because sometimes the past deserves a second chance.iHeartMedia is the exclusive podcast partner of Pushkin Industries.
Jason Weiser tells stories from myths, legends, and folklore that have shaped cultures throughout history. Some, like the stories of Aladdin, King Arthur, and Hercules are stories you think you know, but with surprising origins. Others are stories you might not have heard, but really should. All the stories are sourced from world folklore, but retold for modern ears. These are stories of wizards, knights, Vikings, dragons, princesses, and kings from the time when the world beyond the map was a dangerous and wonderful place.
History as told by the people who were there.
(NB: Episode 10 Extra concludes Season 1 of Unexplained - Season 2 will begin early 2017, see @unexplainedpod for further announcements) Unexplained is a bi-weekly podcast about strange and mysterious real life events that continue to evade explanation. A show about the space between what we think of as real and what is not. Where the unknown and paranormal meets some of the most radical ideas in science today. When something is inexplicable, that mystery in itself can become the story. In many ways, it is often the lure of the mystery that keeps us coming back for more... And maybe, ultimately, some things are just better left unexplained… More info at www.unexplainedpodcast.com and on twitter @unexplainedpod

Genial programa. Como siempre
