Tomamos la percusión africana, lo mezclamos muy lentamente con los vientos y cuerdas europeas. Sumamos tres cuartos de rítmicas indígenas. Esencia latina en abundancia y luego una pizca de azúcar. Se revuelve improvisadamente agregando de cuando en cuando agua de las antillas y flauta traversa. Dos cucharadas de son, una cucharadita de Latin Jazz, otra más de guaguanco mezclado anteriormente charanga y boogaloo. Una taza de boleros bien macerados y finalmente a gusto agregue pequeñas cantidades de Blues, Rock y Música clásica. Déjelo al fuego lento de América en la sartén de New York. Episode 1 - The Roots of Reggae. In episode one, Don looks at the beginnings of Reggae, from the naming of the genre, the tracks that created the foundations, the catalysts behind the genre and even his fathers Sound System parties in South London.Don Letts is one of the central characters in reggae in the UK. Dating back to the seventies where his residency at the infamous Roxy club switched a whole generation of punks onto Reggae and is still at the forefront of new music with his BBC Radio 6 show.The show is kindly supported by Turtle Bay - the UKs finest Caribbean Restaurant chain.

'Nuestro flamenco', dirigido, escrito y presentado por el especialista y escritor José María Velázquez-Gaztelu, responsable también de la serie de TVE 'Rito y Geografía del Cante y del Baile',que lleva en antena más de un cuarto de siglo. Por el espacio han pasado todas las grandes figuras del flamenco actual: Paco de Lucía, José Menese, Enrique Morente, Chaquetón y Carmen Linares, entre otros muchos. En su archivo han quedado registradas las voces de maestros ya desaparecidos, como Juan Varea o Rafael Romero El Gallina.
