Then, at ( 40:15 ), Paul digs deep into “Black Bolt” by Saladin Ahmed (w) and Christian Ward (a), lettered by VC’s Clayton Cowles and edited by Wil Moss. Paul considers how “Black Bolt” functions as a prison narrative, with implications for how readers relate to the character and what resonances the story has.
