Qué episodio tan interesante. Conocí el libro cuando colaboré en una antología de Barrett; en una firma de libros, coincidí con una escritora canaria y, al hablarle del libro, literalmente me lo lanzó con desprecio al leer que Sabina «no era canaria» (creyó que ella era la autora). Me impactó mucho, pero tras este episodio he conseguido darle un sentido.
En Canarias lo de Mararía ya pasó a la historia, ay, amigas. Ahora es lectura obligada el cuento de aventuras "La cometa de Miel". Escrito por un autor pamplonica afincado en Gran Canaria, Pablo Sabalza. Mindi_lou_lou❤️
Como veo que les interesa la reactualización del género popular canario, me extraña que no conozcan los cuentos y novelas de Rayco Ancor, seudónimo del artista garncanario José Otero, que obviamente Antonio conocerá, de esos artistas de la promoción de mi hermana Dácil, los de la llamada "Escuela de La Laguna". Les animo a que lean alguna de sus novelas o cuentos, si les gusto "Panza Burro", porque también tiene esa visión humorística y descarnada, situaciones paradójicas provocadas por el choque entre los estereotipos identitarios canarios y la sociedad actual del Archipiélago. En Gran Canaria, por ejemplo, lo de "dejarse dormir" o "dejarse mear" no se dice Yo lo escuché por primera vez cuando me fui a estudiar a Tenerife. Una compañera de clase me dijo: ¡Ay, me estoy dejando mear! ¡Y yo creí que de había hecho pis encima! Otra cosa muy de Tenerife es decir "te pareces con" en vez de "te pareces a", haciendo un uso creativo de las preposiciones. 😂
Es precioso lo de "dejarse dormir". Los niños lo saben, cuando tienen sueño pero quieren hacer algo y no se quieren dejar dormir. O el insomnio, es no poderte dejar dormir... Me encanta.
Lo que me reí intentando imitar a una amiga manchega diciendo “vamos a subir por las escaleras” siendo yo gaditana...

En el hierro está el Lava Circular un festival muy interesante.
En Galicia nos pasa lo mismo: acento riquiño, meigas y farlopa. Claro, eso somos los gallegos 🤷♂️
